“It was, pretty spot on in all departments. Nice and fruity, spiced pretty well (could maybe be a bit more if being fussy but personal choice), nice icing and nice size. It was enjoyed very much. It was very well packaged too and arrived in excellent condition even though the delivery left it on its side despite the box showing it needs to be ‘this way up’. The only thing we’d like to point out is about the delivery as we had ordered a day earlier then needed as advised on the website in case it arrived late on the delivery date but it didn’t arrive until 5.40 on the day after the delivery date - so would need to choose a delivery date 2 days before you need it - but this didn’t detract from the enjoyment of the cake and I would definitely order from Sponge again.”
“We purchased the medium carrot cake for my son's 21st as it's his favourite and he doesn't like a lot of icing, so this cake was perfect for him.
My only comment would be that the vanilla flavour of the icing was quite strong but otherwise it was lovely and I would absolutely purchase a cake from Sponge again”

Cake opened next day, very well protected, cake in excellent condituon.
Cake very moist, plenty of filling and topping, excellent quality. Would recommend”
