The cut for starters this is a proper short short perfect for sessions and racing, then there’s the materials light weight and premium feeling you really do get what you pay for, then there’s also the colours and soar have you sorted come bleak winter miles and the staple colours or when the fairer weather comes and you want something a bit more colourful, wouldn’t recommend anything else other than soar and these shorts.”
“My current "go to" shorts for tempo/threshold runs. The "split shorts" have a very comfortable fit, with a small pocket for a card/keys should you wish to carry them. I use them up to half marathon distance with no chaffing. I'm a 32/33 and for these I went for the L (for "Run Shorts 5.0" I use M), for fast/hilly runs I prefer them quite loose. The current fabrics are very light and have a little give in them, which I like. Note: SOAR shorts last for a very long time - I still have the first incarnation of "Run Shorts", a little frayed at the edges but still going strong, wash at 30 to 40oC with Halo and they go on forever. Excellent pair of shorts for faster runs.”
