“I was quite surprised and disappointed by the advanced race vest that I ordered, and have since returned it. I'm a big fan of the standard soar race vests, and have had multiple over the years, so was excited to try out the advanced one.
However I found the material to be quite scratchy and cheap feeling. I experienced more than usual nipple chafing in this vest, and also found that when I got particularly sweaty the fabric held on to moisture much more than the usual soar vests do. This made it quite unpleasant to run in, as the vest was sticking to my body.
Given the price tag, I was quite disappointed and as a result, decided to return the vest. I will be ordering a regular vest instead once some new designs are released.”
Hi Brian, thank you for the honest and thoughtful review. We are sorry to hear the new vest did not meet expectations. This latest iteration uses a different woven composition that increases airflow and structure, but it may not suit all preferences.
