“Love my quick-dry poncho from Slowtide! I especially appreciate the collaboration with a local Hawaiʻi artist, which makes the design feel unique and special.
A few features I really love are the buttons at the neck, which make the poncho much easier to pull on and off without feeling restrictive. They’re also great for temperature control. I can leave them open for more airflow and ventilation when I get warm, or button them up to help retain body heat.
I also love the pocket design. It provides actual pockets while still allowing access to the inside of the poncho, which is a thoughtful and functional detail.
My only criticism is the interior finishing. Some of the loose thread ends could be trimmed shorter, and I wish there were a small fabric backing behind the embroidered Slowtide logo. The threads used for the logo are fairly stiff, and when they rub against my skin, they can feel scratchy.
Overall, I love the poncho and the thoughtful functionality of the design. With a little more attention to the interior finishing, it would be even better. Regardless, I love the item and have zero regrets about purchasing it.”
