“I really like the Terry interior and the fit, which is not too wide and just the right length. It loses one star because the kangaroo pocket is meant to double for interior access but the design makes the front pocket kind of fussy and if you don't snap the snaps, they click when you walk. Small quibbles for a high quality product.”
“I would give zero stars if possible. I ordered 2 ponchos on 11/14. My account was charged but I have never received any shipping information nor have I received either item. I've notified Slowtide twice using their email form and have not even received a response. Very disappointed with the service and I was really looking forward to the product.”
“After buying two Baja Stripe Fouta Changing Poncho, I tried one on, and determined that my hope was and is fulfilled. It's intended use isn't as a changing poncho, but rather as a privacy shield to enable urination into a urinal or bottle because the "heavily used" portable public chemical toilets available at a farmers market are too dirty and stinky. Sometimes there's a line of people waiting at the toilets. No one has given me a second look while I'm standing next to my car with the front passenger side door open. One of these ponchos has a permanent place in my car, next to a box for the urinal. Hand washing supplies are also in the car. Thanks for this fulfillment of my need. I chose the color of the poncho to approximately match the color of my car.”
“This changing poncho is great. I just used it for the first time on a commercial river trip. As a river guide, you can get by living in quick drying materials. But if you are working on multi day river trips, over the season, COMFORT becomes a key trick for going the distance. My poncho allowed me to ditch my river clothes easily at camp when finding a location away from guests, involves setting up a tent or hiking off into the bramble. At bedtime, just sleep in the thing. If it gets cold at night, pull on the hood. I'm very stoked.”
