“Triton T80z Fast-Fit. This product was installed to replace a Triton T70si. The shower is good, but the riser rail assembly is badly designed. The rail is only 43 cm long between the brackets, and 4cm of that is then taken up by the soap dish. The soap dish has to be installed, whether you like it or not, to keep the shower legal as it has the hose guide to stop the shower head dropping into the shower tray and possibly back-siphoning. BUT the hose is much nearer to the rail in the soap dish than it is in the shower head holder, so if you lower the shower head towards the soap dish the shower hose has to kink, so it prevents full lowering and looks awkward. Although two of the three photos shown here include a separate hose guide, there is not one in the third photo, and there was not one with our unit, so the soap dish has to be used. Also the shower head adjustment clicks into a selection of different tilts, but because it is a click system rather than a smooth continuous angle option, it limits the angles you can choose, which in a small shower may make it difficult to get the shower stream where you want it. So if you buy this shower and your currrent riser rail is compatible, consider not changing to the new one.”
