“I've used RootsMagic for years now and much as I appreciate the product, always find the upgrade process clumsy. As it's not cheap, please could you look at making it more user-friendly? I don't have problems with other software but this one never seems to work smoothly and takes several attempts.”

“I purchased version 9 of Rootsmagic a few years ago and it performed fairly well. My primary use is to back up my Ancestry tree including all media. I upgraded to version 11 a couple of weeks ago and am unable to download my tree completely. I get to the final stage - download media and it stalls at 6 percent. I have followed some online “fixes” to no avail.”

Hi Ken, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with this. I'd recommend making sure you have the latest 11.4 update installed, as this should resolve any problems with media transfers on Ancestry. You can check you have the latest update by going to the 'Home' screen and checking in the bottom-right corner for updates.
