“I grew up racing the classic Tamiya Grasshopper back in the 80s, and this little monster truck is as much, if not perhaps more, fun! I had some doubts initially if it would be too quick for my 5-year-old son to use. But under supervision in a park, he can confidently steer it. And because it is built very sturdily, it does not matter if he occasionally bumps into wall or a tree. After so many cheapy RC toy cars, which only lasted a few weeks, this is a big step up in quality. It's very small, so we can easily put it in a rucksack to carry to the park. On Tarmac it's surprisingly quick, it happily crawls through grass and woodland areas only occasionally gets stuck in longer bits of grass. In recent days, it was also fun to run it along frozen bits of tarmac in the park, with cool sliding moves. Runtime is about 30 min per battery, even in freezing temperatures.”
