RCG Racing Retro EVO30 1/16 Mini Drift Car - White Reviews

4.2 Rating 9 Reviews
The car itself is OK, it does not have the gyro control that the pictures in one of the other review shows. Annoyed with myself for assuming the reviews on the page for the car I was viewing would be for the actual car. Website shouldn't show reviews for other cars. Purchased thinking I was getting something else.

I bought this car to get into RC drifting, just to get a feel of the discipline. And was impressed at control available from such a small rig. The body has taken a few minor hits against furniture and chairs etc, but has no visible marks. Very impressed!

This is a great car, my son loves the old BMWs and this is a really cool first drift car for a young child

This RC car is super cool! It goes really fast and can drift around corners, which is awesome. The lights look great, especially when I drive it at night. It comes with two batteries, so I can play with it for a long time before needing to recharge. The controls are easy to use, and it's really fun to drive. I like that it can go on different surfaces, like carpet and pavement. I've even taken it to the skate park and drifted it around the ramps.

Love these cars. This is my second rc drift car. The first one I received was a little smaller (1/25th? I can't remember) and not as powerful. I've had a blast with it. This one is a good bit bigger and noticably more powerful and with larger batteries. The smaller one needs to be on hard floor or cement to drift, this more powerful car can break the rear free on short carpet. I haven't tried it with the rubber tires, but I'm thinking you could get those spinning on hard floor (as opposed to the smooth plastic drift wheels. The cars come with both). Easy to get up and going. Comes with two batteries two sets of tires (smooth and grippy rubber) some cones and the tools needed to tinker with it.

This RC Drift Car is a big hit in our household. My husband and our 1.5-year-old son can’t get enough of it. The car moves fast and drifts smoothly, making it a fun toy to race around. It comes with LED lights, which are a nice touch, and two rechargeable batteries to keep the fun going longer. While it’s probably best suited for older kids and adults, our little one enjoys watching it in action. Overall, it’s a decent choice for some fun racing around the house.

he quality of the build of this car appears to be high and the car body feels firm and is painted nicely. The car is quick and probably gets to about the 20 mph range (not officially tested). Steering is where I took one star off. Cars are always better when they have proportional steering. Nice that it comes with both sets of tires and the little cones are a nice touch. Would recommend for a young person or someone looking to just have simple rc car fun.
