Bought this for my eldest as his younger brother got the MonsterJam Megalodon RC for Christmas and his old basic RC was getting left in the dust when being driven in the local woods. Did a bit of research and saw this as a good alternative. I also saw how you can upgrade the batteries and potentially waterproof (search youtube) and so it seemed a good step up from your basic shop RC. Unit has not disappointed, is very solid and the suspension let it out perform the Megalodon on it's first time out (having suspension kept it stable on frozen rutted ground whilst the Megalodon was getting kicked about). Also looks good and the lights on the top are a nice touch. Will be looking to waterproof and maybe tweak in the long run but the basics out of the box are solid.
