EMAX Tinyhawk II Freestyle FPV Racing Drone RTF Reviews

Purchased this little FPV drone kit to hone my skills before I put my DJI FPV Drone into manual. Wow. It’s brilliant. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who is starting out in the FPV world. This is the RTF (ready to fly) version so it comes with everything you need to start flying. Drone, RC controller, Goggles, batteries, spare props and all chargers. It is a genuine out of the box and fly. Very easy to learn with and it’s a tough little beast. Essentially, with FPV you learn to fly by crashing your drone. This little drone can take a right old bashing. I have crashed this quite a few times. Into the ground a lot ( bouncing) as you learn to take off and fly low. Tripping on into the ground. I crashed into a bush, I have clipped tree branches. But still this little ox of a drone keeps going. I have not had to replace anything and I am still on the same props. Definitely a worthwhile buy. I love it.

I bought this for my son who has already had a DJI Mini for a few years but wanted to get into the world of FPV drones. It worked straight out of the box and he's having loads of fun zipping around the sky with this nippy little drone! Definitely recommend this as a first FPV drone!

This is my 1st proper quad drone, ive had a few cheap ebay things to kinda hone in on skills, but this is a whole new level. Keeping height manually is very new to me and is quite tricky. Flying in stability mode is fun and fairly easy, it just gets alot more tricky when you use horizon mode or full aero... can get out of control very quickly. Also very wierd flying using the fpv goggles, its hard to work out your surroundings. So ive been flying just line of sight to get used how it reacts. It seems fairly durable, had a few crashes on grass. Biggest problem ive had flying without goggles is when it gets away high and far its hard to work out what way its facing, thought id lost it a couple of times now. But i think its great fun, and i doubt i will need an upgrade any time soon is this little thing is far more talented than me. Worse thing is it only comes with 1 set of batteries, and dont waste your time emailing rcgeeks about whats best battery to use or when is their stock coming in as they dont reply.

As a complete FPV beginner I have found this an excellent lit to get started and learn FPV in stages with both flying and the technical aspects, as EMAX set everything up (binding etc.) - I can't focus the goggles as I need reading glasses, and was aware this could be the case prior to purchase so I'm not going to take too much away from my scoring of the kit as my son uses these goggles perfectly.

This was my first entry into quads and fpv, its an amazing little drone. Cheap, medium maintenance, very sturdy. If you have electronics knowledge it's perfect. Even without electronics knowledge it flys great out of the box.
