FTX Outlaw 1/10 Ultra-4 Brushless Buggy Blue Reviews

4.3 Rating 16 Reviews
Very fast and sturdy - many others would fall to bits with some abuse, not this one. RC Geeks comms were excellent, their price was the best. Overall brilliant whole experience.

My boy loves it...after buying so many cheaper and basic cars due to his age and ability to control them...most of which were disappointing in ether quality or battery life...I went for the outlaw in the hope we would get battery life and the power to use it off road...and it hasn't disappointed. We have upgraded the wheel nuts and hubs and have two batteries...so glad I paid the extra for the car and for getting the brushless model. The car is very fast for a 7 Yr old so I have tapped a bump stop behind the trigger which I will remove once he is more confident....Great fun

3 people chipped in to buy this for my nephew for Christmas. The first time out it worked for 8 min before the ESC burnt out. This was sent back and repaired and when we got it back the car worked for just under 5 min before the ESC burned out again. This was sent back and repaired again, this time it manage to go 6 meters forward and 2 meters in reverse before breaking again with I think the same problem and I am now left trying to get a refund, so you can make your own evaluation but I would avoid this product

Total RC novice. Bought for 10 year old birthday. Was worried how " ready to race" it would be.....would it take ages to charge the battery in the morning, would there be some final assembly required, would I have to calibrate/set up the transmitter etc.....brilliant, out of the box just charged the battery for 1.5 hrs (not full charge) that morning, installed it in the car, put batteries in the transmitter and away you go.....10 yr old got the hang of it in about 5 mins......got 45 mins in the park and battery was still going strong. Great great recommendation so far from RC Geeks.

It ran well for 2 days, I’m a novice so wasn’t hammering it and it just stopped with a clicking noise, upon investigation the pinion had took three chunks out of the gear.
