“I bought this for my son's 9th birthday and I can honestly say he absolutely loves it. I did a bit of research to find out if this was the right sort of thing for him, the R/C Geeks blogs are really helpful in that regard. It's quick, robust and has an excellent suspension system unlike other cheaper imitations. The four wheel drive system works really well regardless of whether it is on dirt, small stones or grass. The extra battery pack is a good investment and worth getting to extend the fun. I know it's early days but he wants to play with it more than his iPad which feels like a real win. Delighted with the product.”
“First things first, the information on the website was excellent it really helped me make an informed choice on a birthday gift for my 8 year old son. The videos really helped me get a greater sense of the size of the car as well. The car is excellent, great fun to drive, I'm not sure who's enjoying it more, me or my son. The speed is unreal, great to have the limit control on the handset as it does help to gain confidence with the handling. The Led lights look great too. Battery length is accurate to 20mins so I do recommend adding an extra charger and battery pack to get a solid 40mins run time. All round an excellent buy and great site/service.”
“Overall this is a great car, good price, nice speeds, excellent for a rough and tumble.
Except when the wheels come off, now I have looked at several videos and reviews and this seems to be a common and reoccuring issue which is somewhat annoying as where the screw holds the tyre shears and breaks off, forcing you to drill the screw out or replace those parts entirely.”
“As beginners, I bought this for myself and my son. It packs a punch! Super quick and fun to use. One screwdriver for everything I think and have already made an easy repair to the suspension. Highly recommended”
“Bought two of these for my 7 and 10 year old boys. They love them. They're really easy to control and are really fast even across grass. The variable speed on the controller is really handy as you can slow them down which makes it more manageable for smaller kids.”
