It was described as being "99% ready" but it took my son-in-law well over an hour to get it ready. Also a notice on the box advised that 2 × AAA batteries were required but it should have been AA batteries! However, once set up it has proved to be an excellent gift enjoyed by all the family!”

“We have had 2 of these for over 2 years now and they have been well used on all sorts of terrains from mud and gravel to sand on the beach and they are fabulous. They have been accidentally crashed into kerbs by our 9 Yr old and his 14 Yr old brother when racing but they have stood the test and are still in great condition. They are very fast, however you can turn the speed down. We have lost a few clips along the way however these can be purchased from rcgeeks for a couple of pounds.
Wherever we go we are always asked where we got them from and are happy to recommend them to others.
Prior to this we had purchased remote control cars from the likes of Argos but they never seemed to last long.”
