The problem was that i had to make changes to the shafts so that they would fit the rc car that i bought on November of 2024.
The little metal rods are to large to fit the hubs.
After the changes i was able to insert them in the hubs, and everything is working now.”
“My son and I each have an RCG truck, one "Storm Rider", one "Wind Speed". Both of them had drive shaft failures within the first two weeks, with two failures on the Storm Rider. In all cases, it was one of the rear drive shafts, that appear to have "twisted" and sheered at the point the drive shaft connects with the chassis.
The replacements came quickly and were very easy to fit. Both cars are back on the road, and fingers crossed these will last.
My only quibble is the price, at around £11 including postage for two drive shafts, I'd argue that £5.50 is a relatively high cost for these parts. Still, the trucks themselves are great value and at least they are fully repairable.”
