“I ordered this cushion as I have pressure sores that won’t heal. The service was extremely prompt (arrived the following day) and is exactly what I needed. The cut out parts are in the right place and the cushion is extremely comfortable. I am now considering ordering the mattress topper. I ordered the cushion over the phone and the lady I spoke to was very helpful. Thoroughly recommend this product and British business.”
“Really struggling to work out how to review this cushion as it worked in one way but created a new problem for me! I attended a full day conference where the chairs were very hard and wooden. I'm not very tall and after sitting on one of those all day without being able to touch the floor, I developed a pain that worsened over the following few weeks, finally diagnosed as Pudendal Neuralgia. Ordered one of these cushions and it definitely helped. I was able to sit with more comfort, and began an exercise regime to try to help with the PN symptoms. After about 12 weeks though, while the PN pain was less (but not gone), I found that I had developed some pain in my coccyx. It seemed to me that the effect of the cushion has been to pass all the pressure of my body onto the base of my spine, and now I have quite severe coccyx pain. The PN pain has cleared, but I still cannot sit down properly as the base of my spine feels permanently bruised. Unfortunately, I think I will have to order a different cushion now to resolve that problem! So I'm struggling to write a review that is fair to this product; I feel that it did help with my original issue, but I am fairly convinced that it has contributed to a new one!”

“This is the second time I've bought one of your cushions: I'm disappointed that the quality of today's product is noticeably lower than that of the one I bought several years ago. In particular, the foam is a lot less dense and robust than it used to be.”
Hello thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Have you purchased the same depth of cushion as last time? The thicker one feels firmer. We have not change the density of the foam or manufacturing process. So other than the thickness it would be exactly the same. - the Putnams team

“My mum is able to sit for long periods now with no pressure or pain. We did try other makes without success. I would recommend you try Putnams. Thank you.”

At the moment I still feel
“The aero pressure cushion bony parts was originally very good. However I had lost weight and had shingles and lost more weight. My buttocks and nether regions have very little padding, more so now. I find it tricky to get comfortable on the cushion.”
Hi Chris, if you have lost weight perhaps try the thinner version of the cushion (6cm). When foam is thicker it feels firmer which is why we recommend the thicker one for those over 95kg. If you are still struggling with the 6cm you could try this cushion with no cut out, it depends how severe your weight loss is (sometimes if severely underweight the cut-out become too big and people fall into it).
