What did this product help heal or comfort?
Nothing.
“As I am plagued with osteoarthritis in neck, knees and hips, and am on a (very long) list for a hip replacement, I thought a knee pillow might help at night, and I purchased one from Putmans. However, it was a total disappointment! I gave it a week, in case it was a question of getting used to it, but discovered it wasn't! I woke up with left knee and hip in more pain than I went to bed with! The pillow is too hard for a start, it shifts (the velcro pad being ill designed), and doesn't, generally, provide the relief promised, at least it didn't for me, so I have sent it back.
Though Putmans appears to be a solid, reliable firn, not all of their producs are suitable for everyone.”
What did this product help heal or comfort?
knee replacement
“I recently bought a second knee-pillow and have left the first one in my holiday house as I do not want to be without it. It has been invaluable to me since I had a knee replacement and makes lying down much more comfortable. I have also recommended it to my friend who is about to have a hip and knee replacement. I hope she will find it to be as helpful.”
What did this product help heal or comfort?
Legs after hip replacement operation.
“The knee pillow was rather bulky, moved about on the leg it was attached to and got out of line with the other leg every time one moved. I found it uncomfortable and after two tries did not persist. I am sorry to write this because it seemed such a good product and was recommended to me by the hospital physiotherapist.
My husband ordered it, but it was me, Maria Cannell, who actually tried to use it and wrote this review.”
What did this product help heal or comfort?
Helps relive back ach due to unsettled pelvis, which is under treatment
“Thank you for my knee cushion. I do believe it has helped my sleep and my back aches, however I am not yet ready to give it up for a night, to prove the point. Highly recommend.”
“The product - a knee pillow - has very stretchy fabric which results in it slipping down the leg when sleeping at night as the strap isn’t tight enough. Been advised by physio to sew the band tighter to improve fit.”
