The RacingLine Rear Subframe Insert Kit for the MQB & MQB 'Evo' chassis fills the voids in the factory rear subframe mounts to limit subframe and differential movement under load, maintaining proper rear suspension geometry during hard cornering. By filling these voids, the Rear Subframe Insert Kit eliminates the inevitable 'squidge' to ensure a more precise, connected driving experience, especially during hard cornering, resulting in a much more connected, direct feel from your car when you need it most.
The MQB/MQBE chassis use soft rubber rear subframe mounts with large voids that deflect significantly under load, causing the rear end to feel vague and loose, and leading to less-than-optimal suspension geometry on track. These precision-machined billet aluminium inserts simply slide into the holes, greatly limiting rear subframe movement. Installation takes just minutes, as the inserts are designed to be fitted without requiring subframe removal.
