“I purchased this system to replace my standard exhaust which was fitted with a VAG Sport resonator delete modification. Although I loved the old system on startup, the noise level on the motorway was too much even for a hardened enthusiast! I opted for the Scorpion as I had used their systems on my motorbikes in the past and always found them to be very well made. The exhaust is indeed very good quality and the exhaust note still offers a massive improvement over the standard system without the same excessive noise on the motorway as before. It has a fairly deep "baritone" sound and you still get plenty of "pops and bangs" when required. The fitment to the stock manifold took some slight adjusting and you would be advised to make sure you have an additional exhaust hanger just in case (required on my Cupra) but otherwise, this was an easy installation. You can adjust the height of the tips to suit your own preference which is useful. The ceramic tip option I selected was an expensive upgrade on the standard chrome version, but with hindsight, I am glad I chose this option. I did not expect any day-to-day performance improvements but I have been delighted with the very noticeable performance gain. The turbo spools up more quickly and certainly enhances my other upgrades. Highly recommended!”
