I have very deep-set/hooded lid eyes so really no eyelid that is really seen; and I wanted to have my lashes show up if I took the trouble to put on mascara. The older I get, the more hooded they are! This product really goes on smooth, doesn't clump and doesn't give me raccoon eyes at the end of the day.
