“I think the visuals were quite difficult to see on line. The content was good but my daughter felt a little tired watching it. Perhaps having different tutors per section may have helped?
I know it’s tricky getting them all to put their cameras on but would have helped.”
Hi Clare,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're glad to hear that your daughter found the course content helpful.
We apologise for any difficulties with the visibility of content. We do our best to ensure everything is clearly set up for students, but as the courses are delivered online, issues can occasionally arise depending on a student's internet connection or device.
We understand that a full-day format may not suit everyone, and it's not uncommon for students to feel a little tired by the end. We provide detailed information about the course timings and timetable on our website to help parents and students make informed decisions. While we appreciate that different tutors may offer a change of pace, we choose to use a single tutor throughout each course to maintain consistency in teaching. In a one-day format especially, switching tutors partway through can be disruptive, particularly when students are just getting used to a tutor's teaching style.
Regarding the use of cameras, we completely understand the difference it can make to engagement. Although we strongly encourage students to have their cameras on to help create a more interactive environment, we can't enforce it. Participation in this regard can vary from course to course, and some groups naturally have more cameras on than others.
