“I completely understand that I was not buying anything that would be anything other than a starter to give me an idea of whether or not I could play. However I couldn’t hit a ball properly with it - it sent the ball in weird directions and others took pity on me and lent me their bats to try.
The regular players gave up on this bat because as one review said it was unplayable.
So I effectively bought cheap and got excessively nasty and useless
Should have done more research - not suitable for the sport”

“These aren’t serious game paddles, but for a fun family knock about they fulfil the purpose perfectly well and enabled our family to play during a week away. The carry bag was a welcome bonus.”

“Was quite disappointed on opening package as these look rather like a kids beach toy as they are very thin and flexible and only have the plastic handle with no tape or grip.
I was however pleasantly surprised on playing with the paddle as once I'd got used to it I found it to be light and easy to control. My wife, on the other hand, could not get over the appearance, sound and feel of the paddle and rejected hers in favour of the ones provided by the leisure centre.”
