“TL,DR: these are excellent Gloves. They are well crafted, comfortable, and perform well. Overall, they are nicer to me than Rivals, and a better value than fly.
Craftsmanship: The leather is obviously premium and every stitch is impeccable. Where a lot of 16oz gloves look like cartoon chicken drumsticks, the phenoms have a slimmer profile. I am a big fan of the embroidered name on the wrist and the logo on the back of the hand. Looks great. Got mine in Gandalf White and nothing gets past me.
Comfort: these are the most comfortable gloves I’ve ever boxed in. The thumb opening is well placed, so no tension there or feeling like my thumb is falling asleep. The liner is smooth, doesn’t bunch up.
Performance: these gloves have a compact hand compartment but aren’t tight and restrictive. They offer excellent protection and when you strike with them, the padding sinks in enough for a little feedback, but not all the way to the bone, like a cleto reyes, for example.”
“I was planning on getting some winnings glove but I came across a training partner with these and I liked the design. I picked up a paire of the laces gloves ( he had Velcro ) and I can honestly say they’re the best gloves 16oz I’ve owned. The Fairtex glives are a close second”
