“I had hoped this water bottle would be great. . . . but even if does filter out the gunk the cost comes as the taste of the water just tastes like rubber from lining of the bottle. I've soaked it now for days, but can't get rid of the rubber taste. Might be safe to drink. . . but who wants to taste rubber”
“Great product, is very compact when packed away and great security when out on the trail. My only qualm with it is that the filter rate is quite slow and a lot slower than other products on the market.”
“I got this hoping to filter PFAS and microplastics and obviously I can't comment on how well it works in that regard without lab testing but I will say that I tried drinking water from a public bubbler through the filter and it did get rid of the weird taste. I thought the backwashing required of the filter would be annoying but you only really have to do it once a week or so and it only takes a few seconds so it's fine.”
