Freeze-dried Expedition Meals Single Serve / Penne Bolognese Reviews

4.8 Rating 6 Reviews
The meals are good. No problem. But. The bags now dont have the name of the meal written up on them. When i took paper/ cardboard tags of them, my mistake. I ended up with meals i had no clue what they are. All info and name of the meals is on cardboard tags. Not on bags. Had to figure out what's what and write the names on the packaging. See the photo. But meals are tasty!!!

We purchased the meals for our overland drive from Greece to Mongolia so we haven't tried them yet. We will take them to Greece in March where we stored or Landrover in November, and use them as emergency meals on our trip if we get in a sticky situation which often happens on our overland adventures.

The suite of Campers Pantry meals were awesome. I’m not a massive fan of the freeze dried meals currently on market, but these couldn’t be faulted. We ate them on and off for 13 days straight on the GPT. I’m a meat eater but my favourite was the cauliflower and pea Dahl. Great flavour and texture. Seriously, these are great. Would recommend.

Perfect for short-term camping. All you need is boiled water. Practical, nutritious and filling.

The meals were a great option. Light to carry, easy to rehydrate, and quite satisfying. The mexican chilli had an interesting mix of grains and seeds. Ozbackcountry provided efficient service and their meals were cheaper than some large camping stores.
