“Did a lot of research before buying this product as it has good reviews overall. I would suggest you research as well before buying as it seems is not effective in all types of jackets or at least under certain conditions. I used it on a $600 Patagonia flyfishing jacket, about 4 years old. you need to wash the jacket first, I used Revivex Pro cleaner, then you apply the DWR while still wet, then you machine dry, etc (follow instructions). I did the process twice and got some water repellency back in certain parts of the jacket but not everywhere which tells me that the issue may be in the jacket.
Size matters: I suggest you get the 500ml spray in case you need two applications or more than one item
Customer service: I had the best customer service from Ozbackcountry. John was very helpful and replied all my emails with insights and info about how to use the product, etc. . Really happy with them, will definitely be back soon
