“I initially purchased my Osmo Dagger tent without the footprint, as the ultralight YouTuber crew convinced me that extra layer was unnecessary. I was camping in the desert and other rough spots for over a week, and was rather nervous about the durability of the floor. I ordered the footprint as soon as I returned home.
You could get away without one if camping only on gentle green grass, but for anything else I’d recommend using the footprint for the Dagger.”
