“I use this on the contact dermatitis on my face, it's a small patch, smaller than a 5p. It doesn't cure it but helps soothe it. I would give it 5 stars if it were more moisturising because I have to use my trusty Pink's Boutique's Face and Body balm to get the moisture that the Odylique Calendula Balm is lacking.”
“I had chronic impetigo as a result of secondary infection from a cold sore. I was on oral abx for five weeks which helped to slow down and eventually get rid of the majority of infection. However as a result of over use topical (antibiotic and non abx) treatments, I developed exfoliative cheilitis (eczema) of the lips and this paved the way for further infection, resulting in impetiginous sores on my lips (not full blown impetigo). These were painful and kept recurring in new places, thankfully only on the lips only. The fusidic acid didnt improve the condition. I was desperate and found a study on calendula balm successfully treating exfoliative cheilitis but it was really hard to actually find a balm of the requisite calendula concentration. Odylique's product seemed credible and I chanced it. I am so glad I did as the sores/scabs disappeared within a week and improved the cheilitis significantly. I was so glad to have relief after suffering impetigo 7 months at that point. It may not help in every case and you may need to use on rotation. The second bout of impetigo I had affected my skin differently so this didn't help so much but at that point I had been using this product continously for months on end so I would suggest rotating with another product. I am so so thankful I came across this product. It would be good to know what percentage of the product is calendula but from its deep yellow hue, it does appear to be sufficiently concentrated for my purposes.”
“I love the product which I bought. I use this calendula balm for my lips, they stay very soft and very moisured. I recommended to people who have skin problem, dry lips. Quality is fantastic. I will buy again.”
“I brought this as a lip balm as anything with beeswax blocks the pores around my lips. It's helping but is perhaps not quite emollient enough so I layer coconut oil underneath. My lips are extremely dry due to air con and hot weather in Dubai. In terms of using it straight onto patches of dry skin it is great. Keep it in a cool place or it will melt too much. I heavily relied on this in winter when I lived in Cornwall.”
