“The sales team service is fast, to the point, very efficient. I am familiar with the series of (leather) photo bags by Oberwerth. The design is very German, in my opinion, and this in a good way: clean lines, functional, minimalist. There is an attractive modernity about the bag. I see traces of design heritage like Bauhaus reflected in the designs, without repeating the past. Less is more. At the same time the Relon XL (I got mine in an amazing hunting green, you could also describe it as a moss green) feels luxurious, special. It feels premium to the touch, the bag stands out. Pick it up and you feel the bag has a substance to it. The material has an attractive satin shine to it (it definitely doesn’t feel like traditional nylon, this is up to another level), it feels dense, supple. The leather applications are pliant, soft. Padding is thick. The carrying strap is very generous in length: I am 6’2”, and when wearing the bag cross body I still have a lot of leverage for adjusting. The Relon XL has a certain flexibility to it, it somewhat adapts to the shape of my body, while keeping its boxy shape, perfect. Lastly: the Fidlock system works fuzz free. It opens and closes in a snap.”
