“Leather is luxury but can also be a (weight) liability. Case in point: large messenger, weekender or business bags that are just too large/heavy and get old slinging after even 10 minutes. Not with this delightful, perfectly proportioned backpack that can comfortably house two Leica M's (with reasonable-sized lens on) and enough other stuff for a full day photo-touring in your favorite city. Easily doubles as a beautifully styled carry for business travel. And, if you load it with three cameras and two computers, that weight is so much more carryable with a small backpack vs. a cross-body bag.
Sure, its relatively expensive (vs. lesser alternatives) and one of those "few but splurged" gentleman's or lady's items in one's life that gives true pleasure over decades. Like Leica cameras perhaps for some. So, not for everyone, even most but for those who place a higher value on heritage, craftsmanship, beauty and flawless design/function. A true gem, personal favorite and appreciated little luxury.
Some seem to miss the purpose of the Q's signiture design feature: how the camera section is part recessed into the main body. Sure, a little space is "lost" inside, but this design allows the right proportions, look and feel (otherwise that section wouid rediculously stick out and throw off the weight distribution/feel both on body and sitting upright on the floor.”

“I own just a handful of things that exude quality. As a perfectionist, I often have, at the very least, minor issues or annoyances with products, especially bags (which I own more than my fair share).
I have no such issues or annoyances with the Oberwerth Q Bag. It is, in my estimation, perfect. It is perfect in design, perfect in construction, perfect in execution. Pictures don't do it justice. Seeing it, touching it, USING it, brings joy.
It started as my camera bag and quickly moved to become my primary EDC, even sans camera. It can hold more that one would think, including my 14" MacBook Pro, 11" iPad Pro, Leica Q3, and misc. accessories (battery, cables, etc.) that one needs to make it through the day.
