The integrated play top provides a fun extension on which your bird can play and exercise in safety outside of their cage.
There are also two feeding bowls, so your Parrot can enjoy a refreshing drink or tasty snack whilst they play.
The large full height cage door ensures that you have the best access when it comes to cleaning and maintaining the inside of the cage, meaning no awkward stretching to reach those corners!
The slide out grilles and trays has also been designed to help keep the overall time required for cleaning to a minimum.
The Santos Play Top Parrot Cage comes with seed catchers, helping to reduce the amount of waste ending up all over your floor, meaning less time cleaning up.
All the feeders fix to swing out doors for ease of access and help to reduce any stress to your bird. There was a new design of feeder for 2019, please see the attached images.
The use of castors ensures that moving your cage is easy, especially useful when cleaning and maintaining the back sections of your Parrot's cage.
Plus, you'll find a breeder door on the side. Please Note: the door is NOT in the centre as pictured. It is offset to the side of the panel, close to the edge of the cage.
This cage is delivered on a pallet service direct from the manufacture to ensure it arrives with you in perfect condition. The courier is unable to collect / return or dispose of the pallet.
This cage weighs approximately 63kg.

The cage is lovely and has more room inside than his previous cage. The one draw back that I didn’t realise is that it has the one large door for him to leave the cage. Ideally an opening on the top of the cage would be good allowing him to venture easier up top. The bars are slightly wider too so not all his toys and perches fit.

Super pleased with this cage. After around 20 years it was time to replace the cage I originally had my grey in, and this one offered slightly more room both width, depth and height. Height isnt always a good thing for african greys as they can be quite clumsy and do themselves damage if they fall too far. Northern Parrots called me to arrange delivery which was great as it was available sooner than I expected. The cage arrived in two huge boxes, by a really helpful delivery driver who carried them to my front door. I unpacked there, and took the bits in one by one - they are solid and heavy. The cage was built in view of my grey, and when it came time to introduce her, she had a slight hesitation when she saw the playtop, but I popped her inside amongst her familiar toys and perches, and she immediately fluffled her feathers, tailwagged, and went to investigate her food dishes while eyeballing everything.Shes been very happy since, no night terrors, and seems to be really enjoying the extra space. The play top DOES make it a very tall cage though, she is well above my eyeline and even my head if she is up there, so this may not be a good cage for parrots who are territorial and agressive when up high - which she is - and I wish I had checked the total height against my height to realise that. When she is in the cage she is below my eye line which is great. But, we will figure something out - and in building the cage, it is clear the play top can be left off without compromising the rest of the cage, so if it remains an issue for her to be on the play top, then I will simply take it off.Delivery was quick, I built the cage single-handedly - its possible but if you are defeated by flat pack I would advise having a second person to help - and it is very easy to clean.Do seem to be missing four tiny parts that are to do with the seed catcher skirt but Northern Parrots customer service team are looking in to that for me and its not stopped me us

Difficult to review a cage that I only put together last night and has no occupants yet! Ask me after a month or two. Anyway it is certainly sturdy and went together smoothly despite not much useful help from the usual sketchy diagram and dodgy English. My aim is to house my two, well-bonded Greys together but its been difficult to find the right size and shape, with a gym top, to satisfy their individual personal space requirements AND fit my small living room. Ive certainly succeeded on the space and size issue but my only concern is whether the wire spacing at 3 cms is wide enough to trap a Grey head, as the cage is recommended for Cockatoos and Macaws. Perhaps someone can reassure me on this.I close with a moan - sorry - but it is the Elf n Safety thing again. The carrier would only leave the wooden pallet with two boxes attached as close to the house as possible, in my case on the pavement outside. I am 68 and live alone, these cages weigh a ton or thats what it feels like. I am sure you can imagine the difficulty without me spelling it out. We live in a sadder world today in many respects.
