The Aviator Harness is safe and lightweight to allow flight. The lead is elasticated to prevent injury if your bird flies to the end of the lead.
This escape Proof Harness is made from a one-piece construction, with no buckles or clips for your bird to undo or break and has a wrist loop to help prevent you from dropping the lead.
With a slip-on design and easy adjustments your Aviator harness is easy fitting and has been lovingly hand-welded and made with fray resistant seams for comfort on your Parrot’s delicate skin.

“This was bought for our Triton Cockatoo. She weighs 600 grams, so falls in between the recommended harness sizes medium and large. It fits very well. Her old harness fastened around her neck, and as this one has to slip over her head, it has taken a bit or retraining to get her confident with putting it on. It’s a great design, and very well made.”

“Hi,We been using this harness for several months now. We managed to harness train our Green Wing Macaw within two weeks. We now use the harness to take him outside including trips to our local park.You may want to consider buy a harness extension if you are planing on free flight training. We have the medium extension and are about to buy the longest one.There are video of our harness training and our Macaw Maui flying with the Harness, on our YouTube channel... search Macaw Takeover.”

“I had Casper for 9 mths. thought it would be nice to take him outside but wanted him to be safe so bought this, tried introducing it gently for a couple of weeks. All was going well until one day when he grabbed it and with one chomp bit straight through the braid and the Aviator is no more! Expensive mistake.”

“Love this product!! The lead is so easy to put on to my macaw, From an owners perspective I have every confidence in the product as I feel my macaw is safe when I take him out walking.Coco is so happy with this lead on and I feel he knows the where the boundaries are with the lead as he has never tried to fly away and he isnt clipped.”

“This harness fits snugly over our Blue and Gold Macaw Rio. There is no hooks or fasteners which is ideal for training younger birds. I found in the other harness we had Rio found fasteners uncomfortable and was not to keen on wearing it. Now we say walkies and she enjoys getting out to the garden for a good flap and watching the wild birds. I would recommend training young birds at an early age as the harness has to go over the head and wings. Older birds might be afraid !!! Very sturdy and safe piece of equipment , but read instructions and watch DVD supplied. Remember birds will fly if startled !!”

“The harness works very well, easy to put on and off.Well made The lead handle fits snug on my wrist and the lead itself is well designed, with the bungie cord attached.I chose the large blue for my Macaw and it looks great on him and fits wellHes had it just under a week now and its given him new experiences i.e.. feeling the sun on his back, the wind in his feathers and lots to see. The enclosed CD is informative and its best to watch before using the harness.Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.”
