Developed by King's Cages, this revolutionary product for feather pluckers, feather pickers, self mutilating birds and birds with behaviour problems has been on the market in the USA since January 2005.

“I have used this for my Amazon when he started plucking when he was unwell and it worked perfectly feathered up very quickly! I did keep him on it until his kidney problem was under control to ensure he didnt start plucking again. You have to do exactly what it says on the bottle, using bottled water, following measurements, changing the water daily of course, spraying them 2 to 3 times a day with the correct concentration, keep the solution in the fridge and keep the bird on it for at least 5 months to break the habit! I am now using for my grey who started plucking when I had been away hes only been on it for 3 weeks and all the feathers are growing back! Just follow the instructions exactly!! Its expensive but you can get a larger bottle now which helps! DONT GIVE UP!”

“My conure parrot has been stressed due to our family member moving away. It took 3 full months to get his feathers back. What you need to do is to follow the instructions to the letter and be consistent in doing so. Use only bottled water to dilute the product for drinking and spraying every day, no skipping. It is important to give less fruit and veg so they can get thirsty hence drink more. Be prepared to spend money as this product is not cheap and I needed 2 bottles each month. However, it does work as long as you continue using it regularly and patiently until new feathers grow back.”

“I have been using this product for around a year now.I am on my 11th bottle now, but at last my Hahns Macaw has stopped chewing her feathers. She has never been a plucker, just picking and chewing. It will take alot more bottles than recommended, but if you persevere you may well get results. I am very happy with the final result, and that makes it well worth the money for me personally. I cannot pass comment on plucking parrots, as my girl was picking and chewing.”
