Poly Aid can save the life of your bird when they are too sick to eat, it stops them from starving long enough for them to regain their appetite. Can have amazing results, keep some handy. It can make up to 100% of the diet in very sick birds. In these extreme conditions it is normally given by crop tube.

“i rescued a female pheasant that i saw when it was hit by a car, took it home thinking it could die, as she started to come round no matter what i gave her to eat she wouldn't touch, after 2 days i syringe fed her with polyaid and within 24 hours she started to pick up, i kept going for another 24 hrs and that was enough to keep her going, she regained her appetite and is currently back in the countryside, rather than starved to death.”

“I keep a supply of Poly-Aid in case of emergencies. Have found it very effective when given to injured or abandoned young wild birds prior to getting them to the vet or rescue centre. Hope my parrot will never need it!”
