“My Cockatiels are sitting on eggs at the moment and two of them who spend very long periods on the eggs drop large smelly droppings when the eventually come out to feed. They are otherwise very healthy and I thought this product may help restore the balance of bacteria in their gut. The birds readily accepted the powder which I gave with a treat - it has a lovely vanilla aroma. After a week, I have not noticed any improvement, but it may take some time to work. Will take them to the vet to be on the safe side.”

Thanks for your comments. We do always advise speaking to a vet if you suspect your Parrots are unwell.

“I use this product for my african greys, cockatiels and also.... for my ducks.Though I use it more for the cockatiels.Absolutely true: 2 of my cockatiels in the outside aviary showed sign of over stress with breathing difficulties, probably too much mating, after one week of just a bit in the drinking water they seem to have recover. I first poor very small amount of hot water, add the product and fill the rest with cold water, it dilutes better.”
