“I have always liked Vitacraft products as they good quality and varied. As a previous reviewer has said, it is difficult to find foods for South American birds but this one seems fine.There is a very small amount of sunflower seed but I remove this, and the banana chips I just break into smaller pieces.”

“This is a fantastic food, smells so lovely and fresh and there is a great mix of fruits in there, even chillis!It is very difficult to find a food suitable for a Celestial Parrotlet. Being South American birds, I've struggled to find a South American parrot mix that doesn't consist of pieces so large he can't fit them in his mouth.This food is very appetising and our parrotlet gets very excited over it. He tends to leave the papaya and banana chips as they are quite large but eats everything else, even the pellets! It has made the colours really come out in his feathers and he is looking fantastic.I'd recommend using this food as a foraging treat as I'm sure a parrot could gorge himself on this mix. I've started using the Small Starter Creative Foraging System which has been an instant hit with Rocky, and has no problems working for this food!”

“At ú5 a kilo this is a pretty expensive parrot mix, but it does include chillies and some vitamin pellets and sometimes our Amazon even eats them! I mix this with other parrot foods to get a better value mix.”
