This food met with some of my wish list requirements when considering feed for my parrot....organic premium ingrediants etc.I did however try my amazon on this for 21 days(obviously mixing this with his regular food gradually until the ratio became greater) He did not accept the food atall,at first he attempted to peel it,then just crunched it up and spat it out all over the floor, then this behaviour changed to angry emptying of the food bowl.....then constant begging....then robbery(no fruit bowls were safe, dogs mugged for their biscuits etc).I emailed the manufacturer and they advised moistening it,and then persisting....which i did for a further 3 days.I would not recommend this product as quite expensive, manufacturer tells me smaller trial bags are available but when i was looking into use of this product could not find said small bags.If you do decide to try please make sure you try and obtain one of these.

It's so hard to find a good pellet diet. There are so many out there! I needed something for all of my small birds and I came across this. It is a must have! I feed the recommended amount each day for my birds with fresh fruit and veggies along side. I have noticed in all of my birds that it has made a HUGE improvement. One of my cockatiels had come from a bad background and he was severely plucked. I have noticed that switching his diet from all seeds to Harrisons High Potency Fine that he has actually stopped his plucking. His feathers cannot grow back but at least he doesn't bother any more! All of my brids seem a lot more alert and happy. I would recommend Harrisons foods to everybody. They also come in a variety of sizes for all species. At first your bird may object to eating them, being pretty dull in colour, but after a while they will get the hang of it. Mine gobble them down now!

I have been getting Harrisons for my budgies for quite a while now and it never took them long to convert, infact it was easy considering one of them is real fussy..I think the Non fussy one helped in that respect. They love these pellets and even though my budgies have always been healthy, they seem to have more vitality and are very happy. I will always keep on buying this...I enjoy buying from Northern Parrots, as they have a lot of other items on here to tempt us with, which is good because you can fill your baskets with lots of things and pay a decent price for postage...or even free if you purchase enough. Harrisons has a good reputation for Organic Bird food and I can see why.

Been buying this a few months after my cockatiel was poorly with kidney infection. This was recommended by the vet. So glad I took his advise. I now have a very healthy lutino whose plumage and overall general wellbeing is 100%. At first he wasn't too happy ,but with the vets advise of how to wean him onto it he loves it. Can't recommend this product enough.

I was recommended this by my vet after Dennis recovered from his illness. The vet said it would take a while to wean him off seed but Den loved it from day one and is now not interested in seed based foods. I'm really pleased with how happy and healthy he is too and would recommend this product to any bird lover.

I usually buy two packs at a time to save postage. Unfortunately it is for one cockatiel and I do not use it up quickly and on this occasion I found the best before dates were not very long. There was also a lot of crushed pellet dust in the bottom of the packet. However I will still buy it as my cockatiel loves it
