My birds are used to a variety of pelleted food and seeds. I ordered this as a new variety and not one of my birds will touch it. A very expensive mistake, as I bought the 25lb bag. I rescue so keep hoping that a new bird will take to it, but so far no luck. I'll end up gifting it to another rescue org in the hopes that they may like it. Not a mistake I can afford to make again for sure.

I had high hopes for this dry food to give my parrot some nutrition in handy pelletsI bought large pellets for my large macaw but these are tiny! They are so small he just dismisses them as not even worth tryingI am going to keep giving them to him but size is an issue. So far they just get swiped out of the bowl and i end up sweeping them up, such a waste.I will update my review if he actually starts eating any.

I previously tried converting my cockatiel into the Harrisons pellets because he started plucking his feathers, but he just refused to eat it. However when I bought these pellets he instantly ate it from my hand and he would just keep coming back for more. It made converting his diet so easy and he stopped plucking within two days. I am very glad to have tried these pellets and I would definitely recommend!!!

We purchased these after being recommended on the correct food rather then mixed seed, my 1 year old Galah was unsure at first but with small amounts gradually introduced he absolutely loves them now he has them for his evening food and can not get enough I will be trying other creations with these as well many treats can be made with these so your parrot will love them even more. Best to stick with this brand as they are organic and have so many nutritional ingredients

I was advised by my vet that JellyBeans diet contained too much sugar, from fruit and corn based pellet food, and he recommended TOPS. I thought that I was going to find it very difficult to convert his diet, but he took to the new pellets straight away... I even got him the big-bird size and he loves holding them in his foot and munching them!

Previously my B and G macaw has eaten basically most food put in front of it and I have not had any problem with complete pelleted foods. My macaw was very reticent to eat TOPs to start with and left it all in preference to my remaining Hagen Tropican when mixed. I reduced the Tropican but found very little of the TOPs was being eaten. The majority of the TOPs was being ground down and dropped on the bottom of the cage. It is being eaten now but with still with some waste. The TOPs does have a very strong herby smell. I have seen it reported that parrots are not famed for their sense of smell and taste. Whether or not the smell or taste is unpleasant or just different I do not know. Hopefully in time my macaw will get used to it. From the product description of contents it would seem to be a very high quality product. One other point you will probably notice is the very dark poop not surprising really as the food pellets are a dark green

My birds arent picky but both love this food. The baby Alexandrine is just weaning herself - 3 months old - and chooses these out of the mixture she is offered. My 11 month old Derbyan has been on Zupreem but since these appeared on the menu she chooses them above all others.

I really wanted to improve my birds diets, but it needed to be natural as their seed mix contains all the supplements. This seemed to fit the bill so I went straight in with an order for a 4lb bag and have nothing to regret.Straight off my conure went nuts on it, crumbling half a dozen pellets then eating all the crum. My tiel turned his nose up at first, but a little soak to soften and he tried them. Hes eating them dry now and both birds are preferring these to seed mix and millet. Its crazy, wish Id done this before.
