This Johnston & Jeff Galah Roseate Cockatoo Mixture contains lots of small seeds including Buckwheat, Canary Seed and Millet with only 2.5% Sunflower, ideal for feeding these species of Parrots.
“This is a good quality but too many sunflower seeds in, as many birds are prone to fatty liver I feel sunflower seeds should only be used as treats so wont be buying this again.”
Thanks for your feedback. We always try and keep the quantity of sunflower seed as low as possible, as we wouldn't recommend too many in a Parrot's diet either.
“I have no choice but to buy this, as it is the only Galah friendly food you sell in quantity. But who on earth thought sweetcorn would be suitable? I have to pick all the bits out and they seem to be in there just to make up the weight.”
