“I bought this after reading the 5 star reviews, along with a few other items for my 2 cockatiels and 1 Indian Ringneck who likes to poke his beak in to the tiels food bowl! Very disappointed. When I opened the bag it had a strong horrid rancid, stale smell that you get when nuts or seeds go off. I checked the sell by date, just in case, but all good..31.01.19, so plenty of time, so thought it might just be me! Anyway, I put the feed out but all 3 birds refused to eat any of it. I took some fresh seed mix from another packet and mixed that in with a fresh lot of Banquet, not that there was much difference between the two - Banquet had a lot of what the other had - but then the birds refused to eat anything at all from the mixed feeder, not even pecking out millet that I mixed in. 2 days later they were on hunger strike! Have come to the conclusion that the mix is definitely faulty somehow, and that it has indeed gone rancid. Would not buy again, and would avoid at all costs - rancid seed mix.”
