Dried Figs Parrot Treat - 200g Reviews

4.3 Rating 3 Reviews
Read Northern Parrots Reviews

These Dried Figs are a great healthy and nutritious addition to your Parrot's diet.

Sweet tasting figs are high in fibre, helping to keep your bird's digestive systems working correctly.

Dried fruits still provide most of the nutritional values as they would fresh. So, you get the added advantage of feeding your Parrot a nutritious treat, that you can keep stored and fresh for longer.

Figs should be store cold and then you you can use them for a year.

“So I bought the Figs and they feel and smell great but when I opened up the figs I saw hundreds of seeds inside them, I was unsure if my Lovebirds or African Grey are aloud to eat fruits and the seeds within them? I have done some research and found that the parrots eating the figs do not necessarily eat the seeds or pips. It would be helpful for some clarity whether the seeds should be removed or not. Also, I have realised the stupidity in my question, why sell parrot food and then criticise it on whether or not parrots should eat parrot food... I just simply would rather be safe than sorry.Thank you!P.S. I have just had an idea, so as a suggestion to Northern Parrots would it be possible if you could devise a nutrition spreadsheet or overview on what parrots can and cannot eat in terms of fruit and veg, seeds and pips too? Something simple yet detailed. Thanks again.”
