Foraging Fruit Rack Parrot Toy Reviews

5 Rating 4 Reviews
Read Northern Parrots Reviews

What great fun this Foraging Fruit Rack is! Made from durable Java wood, this barrel shaped hanging toy has a number of small hollows cut into it.

Simply push and wedge small pieces of food, treats or materials you know your bird loves into the hollows, hang the Foraging Fruit Rack up in their cage, and watch as your bird works their way around the toy retrieving their rewards. Such a simple idea!

You can easily use these toys inside or outside of your bird`s cage, or on their play gym. Try adding a second or a third and placing just a few rewards on each. This way you are promoting your bird to be active, moving from one location to another in search of their rewards!

* Please note hardwoods such as this can split during the drying process, this is not a fault.

“I bought this for my baby Quaker, as an introduction to foraging. It is great for him as you can stuff all kinds of treats, fruit and veg into it. I also wedge seeds and dried banana into the natural cracks and he spends ages getting them all out. As he has a small beak he will not be able to destroy it easily, so it should last ages.”

“I bought this based on the other review and am very happy, its easy enough to hang and I find it useful for mushing soft fruits into the holes”

“At first I was a little disappointed with how small this feeder is, but over time this has worked to its advantage. We now move it around the house, and fill it with seeds for treats or dried fruit. Because its harder to find our CAG has to look really hard for it, and because its small you dont go overboard with the treats!”
