This is the only perch that trims his beak, well recommended.

Great value. The Budgies are happily attacking it which helps to keep their beaks trim too.

I bought this perch as my Quaker is not used to having his claws trimmed yet and they were getting long. It is a good lumpy shape and I like that it was a made from natural shells from a sustainable source. I put it low down so he does not get sore feet from over use, and it seems to be working well. He uses it daily as I put a foraging toy near it, and he also likes to wipe his beak on it. He does pull bits off, but not very much so I think it will last a long time. It is also sturdy and attaches very securely, so overall I am very happy with it.

We have the small branch for our 'Tiel's cage. It's not his favourite perch, he much prefers his Java branches, but we place treat sticks near this perch which encourages him to use it each day. It certainly is starting to wear down his claws which had gotten very sharp! It is quite a weighty perch, and seems quite cold to touch so I imagine he won't sleep on it due to this reason. He does enjoy sitting on it while eating though, but we have not seen him picking bits off yet!

I have just ordered 2 more of these. My tiel had quite sharp claws. She is very fond of sitting on my head and it was quite uncomfortable. Since having this perch her claws have been kept nice and trim and they are no longer scratching my head. She has also stopped chewing her wooden perches as she spends her time happily picking the bits of this perch

I bought this perch for my Tiel because I thought that it would help keep her claws trim. This perch is great and really does the job. Although, I have real wood perches in her cage, she actually prefers to sit (and chew) on this perch. It is her favourite!
