Let your bird love the attention whilst you love the connection with the Mimic Me Voice Recording Training Device.
Your bird is a social creature and desires the opportunity to interact and quickly learn to mimic sounds they hear regularly; the more language they are exposed to, the more your bird learns.
The Mimic Me assists you in teaching your bird new words and phrases through repetition. You can easily record the word or phrase you wish your Parrot to learn and then press play. The high quality sound output means your recordings are played back clearly enabling your bird to start learning straight away.
There are two recording / playback modes - please see details section for full info and instructions on how to use your Mimic Me training device for an easy and fun way to connect with your bird.
Please note this is not a toy. Do not place the Mimic Me inside your bird's cage or leave it where your bird can get at it. This is a training device and it is recommended that you supervise your bird whilst the Mimic Me is in use.

Minus is that batteries does not fit well inside the box. Must press very hard to put them in place to work. And one battery room is about 2 MM too short, but it works. Only cant close the battery cover tight,

Great idea, but you really need to shout into it to get a decent voice level. Not had any affect on my bird yet but still hoping!

It Arived on time and was packed really well . I found this product very useful for when I am doing other things I just pop it on for my two Indian ring necks that have now started to respond to it . Even though they are not talking they babble

Mimic me is a favourite purchase of both me and our budge, Georgie. It does what it says on the tin - you record up to 10 secs of anything and it replays it in short repeated bursts at 10 or 15 min intervals based on the chosen settings. Georgie is rarely alone but I'm the main person teaching him to talk so I thought this would be useful supplement when I'm at work and he is with my mum (as a supplement to our interaction with him, not a replacement). Not only does he love it and often loves to climb on it and tap along, but I leave it on even when I'm around because it reminds me every 10 mins to give him a bit of my attention as well, so it makes me a better bird owner. I don't know if it makes a better talker - Georgie is very chatty but has a few favourite phrases then drops others in to his 'conversations' sometimes weeks after I think he has lost interest in trying to learn them - but he listens and loves it so much it is more than a sterile talking aid device to us. From a practical perspective the buttons are clearly marked but a bit small. There is no volume control so you have to experiment to get a sensible volume level. There are only two settings and you cannot change these to control the number or timing of repeats and intervals. However battery life is excellent - one set of ultra life batteries has lasted over four months, used almost every day, sometimes continuously, although you need a mini screwdriver to access which is fiddly. In summary the design is not perfect, but it is robust and perfectly adequate and budgies don't care about design. What it does do is make me a better bird owner, which is invaluable. And on the subject of cost, it is not the cheapest item, but considering the hours of pleasure it is probably one of the cheapest cost-per-hour toys I've bought. Love love love Northern Parrots and their innovative products!
