This Jaws Ball Rubber Foraging Toy is a great way to encourage your Parrot to work for their food and treats. You can wedge smaller pieces amongst all the rubber ‘teeth’ around the ball, or place larger pieces inside the centre hole.

“I put banana mixed with other things into the Foraging Toy. Easily washed in the sink.”

“This has not been as popular as anticipated. They are moderately interested because of the treats but don't play with it like they do with the plastic cage-type balls that have an inner ball or bell.”

“Our Ringneck parrot loves this ball.. maybe too much. He feeds it with his "special mash" and I have to soak the ball to be able to clean it all out of the rubber spikes. Yuck! However, it's proved to be a good buy as it's sturdy and parrot proof so far.”

“I make this as inaccessible as possible and put his regular pellets in this instead of a food bowl. He has to hang off the cage roof or stretch from his perch so he is quite fit now.”
