“I am for the most part very happy with this ladder. My parrot likes to sleep on it every day, and spends considerable time hanging out on it. I was surprised to find just how big it is even though it says Small, so look closely at the dimensions before buying. I have a small amazon, so it is not really a problem for him, but the steps of the ladder are still so far between that he prefers walking along the edges instead. My only real problem with this ladder it the fact that the metal wire that strings it together is not properly closed at the ends. The hooks are slightly open, and I think this could provide a hazard to inquisitive birds. I have considered closing them better shut with a tool if I can find something suitable in my toolbox. Just something to be aware of for any potential buyers out there.”

“Even though they are aimed at parrots my chinchillas thank you! All four of my chinchillas absolutely love these bridges! Ive bought several over the last few years as they seem to last them around 6 months.”

“Looked great. Bought to replace previous similar ladder. This ladder strung with rope. Parrot bit through rope and all bits ended up on the bottom of the cage. The only saving grace was I had previous bits from other ladder so restrung the wooden pieces onto the metal wire.”

Thanks for your review. I'm sorry you were disappointed with the toy, it's not designed to be bird-proof as chewing is part of the fun for birds, but most birds don't get through it that fast!
