“We are happy with the Lumex sit to stand LF2020. The ease and balance is much better that the older Invacare model we use to have. The Invacare was very difficult to turn in tight areas and over the large tile and grout and was hard on the caregiver (who is 70) to push and turn. Balance was never quite right with patient. I give it 4 stars because it would be nice to have a removable battery pack separate from the controller so as not to risk damage to pendant by unplugging it frequently. This way you could have a backup battery on hand.”
“the lumex which I purchased was an improvement over the lumex that hospice had brought to my home. It was sort of streamlined ...the same machine but not as bulky. I could move it on the carpet with ease whereas the old model was very difficult to move. Thank goodness! It works very well.”
“I find it quite useful. I am a patient in an ALF which I like. Since my mobility is limited one of the conditions of my return was the obtaining of some kind of lift. Since I am a veteran we discussed dealing with the VA but decided that might take too long and I wanted to return from another less comfortable ALF. The unit in this sense has been a godsend.”
