“I purchased the bed to replace an insurance company rental that finally broke after how many years before I got it and though 4 years of service with me. The new bed, while almost identical i design, is definitely a less sturdy product. The caster wheels are now a much thinner, more flexible plastic in their centers; in all the years I had the previous bed, moving it, even on a berber rug surface, was NEVER an issue. A new wheel snapped on my 4th day of using the bed. I was fortunate; my son had saved the old casters and simply replaced all 4, but that is a definite poorer quality. The new bed seems sightly tighter side-to-side than the old, even though the quoted measurements are identical; it may be the T-rail holder arrangement, which is sturdier than the old bed. The new bed is just a bit tight, side-to-side, but bearable. I've also noticed quite a few sharp edges in places where they shouldn't be, seeming the product of poor finish work. Again, I know I'm comparing it to a DRIVE product of multiple years ago, but I don't think that's unfair. The bed is OK and I can't say I'm sorry I purchased it; I just think it illustrates a decline in quality control and quality over the years.”
“Fits perfect in a small space. My mom thinks it's comfortable. Entire Bed sits too high for short people once mattress in place. Wish entire bed height could be lowered. Other than this, the product is great in the short amount of time owned.”
