“This has an extremely strong taste of red peanut skins (as if a load of skins had been blended in along with the other ingredients), a taste which I`m not too keen on. Otherwise it has a sweet taste which helps to mask the unwanted peanut skin taste.”

Hi Gerald, Thank you for your review even though two stars are a little disappointing 🙁. Just to be clear, this product doesn't contain "Red skin" peanuts, any skin in this product would be from the walnuts. In fact, Nut Mix Ground is actually a by-product of Nut Mix Chopped which is made up of mostly blanched peanuts, blanched almonds, and walnuts which are all cleaned, cut and blended in our own production facility. However, the image on the product page for Nut Mix Ground does show a pale skin peanut and a shelled almond - these 'skin on' nuts are solely for product recognition, because blanched nuts are not so easily understood.
