“The knife turns up quite stiff to begin with so I would recommend opening it up and pulling all the accessories out but it quickly becomes a smooth piece. The Surge feels very well built to a high standard which is backed with the 25 year warranty. So far it has been useful and worked for all occasions and for how well built it is, the Surge is light enough to be able to carry comfortably and it not weigh your trousers down etc.”

It is a little heavy to carry around even on the belt so I mainly keep it in the lorry at work.
Fit and finish is great all the tools a perfect for me outside accessible scissors mean I use my surge over my wave now. The added bonus of being able to swap from a saw to a file is a winner in my book.
The only thing that I not keen on is the wire crimper, just does not work as well as I would like.”
